What Is MLTP?
The Manitoba Locum Tenens Program (MLTP) is part of the Manitoba Healthcare Providers Network.
The program is mandated to provide Locums to rural, urban and remote medical practices in Manitoba.
How Locums Work?
Locums in the rural program are paid a daily stipend by MLTP and the program reimburses overhead expenses to resident physicians, hospitals and practices across Manitoba.
Locums in the urban program are paid on a fee for service basis with 15% of billings being retained by the host clinic for overhead expenses.
